The third set of public workshops for the Naval Base Ventura County JLUS was held over a two-night period. The first workshop was held in Camarillo on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Camarillo Public Library, 4101 Las Posas Road. The second workshop was held in Oxnard on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way.
During these workshops, attendees were provided an overview of the JLUS process and the key findings and recommendations contained in the Public Draft JLUS documents. A description of the Public Draft JLUS documents and what is contained in each chapter was also discussed and an overview of the public comment process was provided to attendees. Members of the project team were available at the workshops to discuss any questions or concerns with the JLUS documents. The workshops concluded with a question and answer period and some attendees submitted comments on the draft documents.
